FIA, the Football Intermediary Association, is the body for Football Intermediaries and officiators of courses, programmes and events for the educating of individuals looking to train as Football Intermediaries.
With the industry evolving (legislation was changed in 2015, so that anyone could train to become a Football Intermediary), the opportunity came with it to provide high-quality, professional training to help those looking to become Football Intermediaries.
The lack of any official associations meant this was more difficult to support, so the Football Intermediary Association was formed to support and encourage professional training in this sector.
If you’re looking to work towards becoming a Football Intermediary with the help of some outstanding professionals in this business, FIA can help get you there!
We have trained over 500 delegates to date and we run professional ‘Exclusive Access Events’ every quarter. You can also learn through our online Football Intermediary Certificate course at any time. Through our training programmes we have helped many individuals work towards becoming a Football Intermediary, embarking on a career which offers high earning potential and great job satisfaction.
Excellent course materials – We have worked with a team of Football Intermediaries to create a course which provides you with the knowledge you need to undertake a career as a Football Intermediary. This course is periodically reviewed and updated, to make sure your learning materials are current and that you can learn in an engaging and interactive way, such as through animations and quizzes.
World-class trainers – Our team of trainers includes Xabier deBeristain Humphrey, Les Ferdinand and Paul McVeigh. These professionals are more than qualified to instruct you on the business side of Football and the skills it takes to become an Intermediary.
Xabier is a Football Intermediary and Sports Lawyer, who was involved in the transfer Kepa Arrizabalaga to Chelsea for a record 71m! Les Ferdinand is a world-renowned ex-Premier League (and England) player, and the current Director of Football at QPR. Paul McVeigh is also an ex-Premier League player, author and keynote speaker often regarded as football’s number 1 keynote speaker, focussing on the psychological and mental aspect of the game.
