The AAT Accounting Level 2 Foundation Certificate will provide you with a basic knowledge of accounting principles and skills. At this level finance administration is your main focus, with your knowledge in accounting starting to develop.

There are four computer-based exams and one Synoptic assessment. The exams will need to be taken at your local AAT test centre and the format includes multiple choice questions. The “Spreadsheets” section will use Microsoft Excel software. Don’t worry, we’ll give you all the information and support you need to book your exams, when you’re ready. Exam fees are not included in the course cost and will be approximately £60-85 per exam and will vary by exam centre.
The AAT require all students to join as a student member but don’t worry, the membership fee is something we have included with our courses! Just be sure to register as a student member within 14 days of your course start date please. This registration allows you to sit any necessary exams and take advantage of the support and resources available.
