The AAT Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping is the key to reaching your potential as a globally recognised Bookkeeper using the power that an AAT credential holds. Designed for experienced Bookkeepers looking to validate their expertise in double entry bookkeeping, financial statements, intermediate spreadsheets and software use. It is the perfect way to add recognition to your CV as employers use AAT’s qualifications as a benchmark for their accounts departments due to the practical and technical efficiency being showcased.
The AAT Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping is perfect for Bookkeepers who already hold a level 2 bookkeeping qualification. You must hold a level of knowledge equivalent to AAT’s Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping, but we recommend staying within the AAT path to maintain consistency in how you learn the practical and technical skills on offer. If you have extensive bookkeeping experience but have no qualifications, we recommend going for Level 2, then progressing to Level 3. Both the AAT Level 2 & Level 3 Bookkeeping courses are available in a package for anyone who is looking for a fast-track route to becoming a credible, independent Bookkeeper.
Once you have successfully passed the AAT Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping, you will be eligible for AAT Bookkeeper (AATQB) status, which will give you the opportunity to achieve Associate bookkeeping membership with AAT and the designatory AATQB letters. The skills that you learn in the Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping will lead you to more lucrative roles in a finance or accounts department, including Bookkeeper, Senior Bookkeeper, Accounts Manager and Ledger Manager.
The AAT require all students to join as a student member. AAT require you to register as a student member within 14 days of your course start date.
