Throughout the AAT Levels 2, 3 & 4 self-study journey, you’ll complete a series of computer-based exams designed to assess the knowledge and practical skills you’ve developed at each stage of the course.
You can choose to sit your exams either remotely (online with invigilation) or at a local AAT-approved assessment centre, giving you the flexibility to fit exams around your schedule.

After sitting each exam, your score is converted into a percentage and weighted based on the unit’s value within your overall qualification. This calculation determines your final grade for each level.
To sit your exams, you’ll need to register as an AAT student member. Please note: AAT student membership fees and exam fees are not included in your course price and are paid separately.
There are no formal entry requirements for Level 2. You’ll progress naturally through Levels 3 and 4 within the same course.

Be comfortable using a laptop or desktop computer
Be self-motivated to study independently

You will have 15 months’ access to the course materials for AAT Level 2 and Level 3, and 18 months’ access for AAT Level 4.
