What is the Management of Portfolios Foundation & Practitioner classroom course?

Develop your knowledge of managing change with this four-day Management of Portfolios (MoP®) classroom course. Portfolio management is a set of processes and decisions that work together to maintain a balance between organisational change and business as usual.

You will gain a thorough grounding in strategic approaches to managing change programmes and projects.

In the second half of the course you will discover how to apply MoP® guidance and analyse portfolio data, documentation and roles in relation to a scenario situation.

Management of Portfolios Foundation & Practitioner exam information

The MoP® Foundation exam is in the following format:

  • Multiple choice
  • 50 questions per paper
  • 25 marks required to pass (out of 50 available) - 50%
  • 40 minutes duration
  • Closed book.

The MoP® Practitioner exam is in the following format:

  • Objective testing
  • 4 questions per paper with 20 marks available per question - all question items will be worth 1 mark, making the total number of marks available per paper 80
  • 40 marks required to pass (out of 80 available) - 50%
  • 3-hour duration
  • Open book exam (MoP guide only).
