Mile2 and e-Careers form partnership

e-Careers have bolstered their cybersecurity repertoire by partnering with globally renowned awarding body Mile2 to bridge the skills gap that plagues many modern businesses.

Without a doubt, you’ve heard/read/seen coverage on data breaches and hacks in recent times and it’s a scary thought to know that no-one is safe from hackers whose attacks are growing in frequency and sophistication. In recent years, organisations like the NHS, Sony, Uber and tech giants Facebook have all felt the wrath of an embarrassing data breach which has caused hours in service downtime and information leaks which some are still recovering from to this day.

Facebook will also have the double blow of paying a fine thanks to the GDPR law change, which came into play in May of this year and will cost them millions.

How could these companies have stopped these attacks? Well, very simple really. A bolstering of their cyber defences and ability to spot issues in their systems would have made things a lot easier (and cheaper if you’re Facebook).

Mile2 carry many accreditations thanks to their popular series of cybersecurity certifications which have been developed by CEO Raymond Friedman, an information security professional since 2002, ensuring these courses have legitimate industry experience behind the teaching.

Friedman said:” We are excited to partner with e-Careers. They have the capability to deliver our courses to the next generation of cyber security professionals. There is a shortfall of millions in the cybersecurity industry which leaves many businesses at risk, Mile2 and e-Careers are looking to bolster the war against cybercrime by preparing the right people with the right skills and knowledge.”

The United States Air Force, Navy, Marines and Army have been using Mile2’s certifications since 2006 to train their forces – if it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for you! The curriculum for Mile2’s CPTE penetration testing qualification was even developed according to the US Air Force’s penetration testing methodology, so the standards are very high!

The Mile2 qualifications are all focused on making you the hands-on cybersecurity professional that you need to be, through Live Labs, interactive training materials and many other course features that offer endless benefits for your career.
