While it would be beneficial to have a basic understanding of accounting (either through previous study or office-based experience), our AAT Foundation Certification in Accounting (Level 2) courses are open to everyone. That said, due to the nature of this course we recommend that students: 

  • Are at least 16 years old (or have the consent of a parent or guardian)
  • Have a solid understanding of the English language
  • Are comfortable with basic mathematics
  • Have access to a PC or Laptop (This course is both Mac and Windows compatible, however the Sage software is not compatible with Apple Mac’s, unless Boot Camp is installed)

AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting Level 2 exams

The AAT require all students to join as a student member. AAT require you to register as a student member within 14 days of your course start date. This registration allows you to sit any necessary exams and take advantage of the support and resources available. The following items are not included in your course fees:

  • £138 registration fee (£129 for international students), this can be included in your course fee with us, or you can pay AAT directly. If you are already a member, you may not be required to pay this fee.
  • Exams cost approximately £60-85 depending on the exam centre.

This course is compatible with Windows and Mac devices but please note that the Sage 50 module is only compatible with Windows.
