Wow, We’ve Done the Double!!

We are incredibly proud to announce that we have won the rare double awards of PQ Accountancy College of the Year 2026 in April and the AAT Distance Learning Provider of the Year 2026 in March.

These awards recognise the excellence of e-Careers in its ground-breaking work to break down education barriers for a more inclusive, open approach to adult learning.

The awards recognise our innovative programmes and the dedication given by our tutors and customer service team in supporting our students' successful learner journeys. The awards are also testament to our students without whom the programmes wouldn’t be successful.

The Awards that Matter in Accountancy

There are two leading awards in the accountancy industry that very few training providers are privileged to be shortlisted for and even fewer receive the accolade of winning top performing provider. The two awards are the PQ Magazine Annual Awards and the Association of Accounting Technician (AAT) Training Provider Awards.

The PQ Magazine awards recognise influential leaders in the accountancy training industry and are presented in recognition of the training provider’s advancements in programme delivery, the learner’s study experience and their success achievements.

The AAT Training Provider Awards recognise outstanding AAT training providers who excel in student support, guidance and success. They look for education innovations that have driven new boundaries to widen student participation and make success more achievable to all.

For each of the awarding companies, there are thousands of accountancy colleges and training providers hoping to be one of the few shortlisted for an award. To be shortlisted is an honour and to win is a profound accolade. To win both top awards in the same year is an incredible honour and a responsibility that we take seriously. We have raised standards in adult education and receiving the awards ensure we continue to push boundaries for increased quality and more open career development.

Going the Extra Career Mile

When students study the e-Careers AAT courses with work experience, they increase their probability of gaining employment from 1 in 200 to 1 in 4, which for students, changes their lives.

When students enrol on to a work experience programme, they complete their AAT studies first. This allows them to benefit from having the knowledge to apply in their accounting work placement. Their work placement is matched to their career ambitions and interests. On average they will have 4 interviews before choosing their placement, which is excellent interview experience for the future. Throughout the placement they will be supported by a mentor and work coach.

The work experience can be anything up to 4 months, full or part-time remote working and is flexible to work around current employment. The students work on live projects within an active accounts department of a UK, SME.

On average 1 in 4 students gain paid employment with their placement company, which is testament to the effectiveness of the programme.On completion students will receive a full job reference from the host organisation ready to take forward into their careers.
