BCS Practitioner Certificate in Requirements Engineering (Virtual Classroom)

What is the Practitioner Certificate in Requirements Engineering

The Practitioner Certificate in Requirements Engineering is aimed at giving you the knowledge and experience in understanding the whole range of concepts, approaches, and various techniques in engineering clear and concise requirements from stakeholders.

This consists of a disciplined and rigorous approach to defining your requirements, categorising the requirements in an effective manner, and learning how to elicit requirements from stakeholders in order to validate them for the project. You will learn how to use correct set of processes and practices to enable the requirements to converge on the right business and I.T. solutions for the business.

This course fulfils one of the core modules requirements and is one of the four modules you will need to complete in order to obtain the International Diploma in Business Analysis, along with the other core module which is the Practitioner Certificate in Business Analysis Practice. You will then need to gain the practitioner requirement with the Practitioner Certificate in Modelling Business Processes and finally either the Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis or the Foundation Certificate in Commercial Awareness, to fulfil the knowledge-based requirement.
