You’ll also benefit from live support, peer discussions, and an exam prep course to maximise your readiness. Alongside the teaching, you'll receive a PMBOK® Guide, CAPM practice exams, and a full 12-month PMI membership for continued learning.

Exam Format

A CAPM® voucher will be provided for redemption. The CAPM exam is not included in your course; you must apply for and coordinate the exam directly with PMI. The examination is generally conducted by online proctored testing at your residence or workplace, although it may also be administered at an authorised PMI test centre.

The Exam Content Outline (ECO) outlines all the project management tasks relevant to each domain covered in the exam. The course is designed to align with the official PMI-CAPM® learner materials, with individual lessons that address all the tasks listed in the ECO.

Exam format - Multiple-choice questions, drag-and-drop-style questions, and animations/comic strips. You may also see hot spot questions.

  • Number of questions - 150.
  • No. of scored questions - 135.
  • No. of pretest (unscored) questions - 15.
  • Duration - 3 hours.

During the CAPM exam, you are allowed a 10-minute break after you've completed and reviewed your answers for questions 1–75. However, once you start this break, you will no longer be able to change any responses from the first section of the exam.

Before the exam, there is an optional tutorial you can take part in, and after the exam, you can choose to complete a survey. Both are entirely optional and usually take between 5 and 15 minutes. Remember that the time spent on these activities is separate from your 3-hour exam duration.
