Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Agreement", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using e-Careers website or any sub-site ("the website", "the site") operated by e-Careers ("us", "we", or "our"). This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the website.

By accessing or using the website in any manner, including, but not limited to, visiting or browsing the website or contributing content or other materials to the website, you agree to be bound by this terms and conditions.

The website and its original content, features and functionality are owned by e-Careers and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. Please visit our Intellectual Property Rights statement.

We may terminate your access to the website, without cause or notice, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with you. All provisions of this Agreement that by their nature shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty, disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

By clicking the 'Accept' button you agree to these terms and conditions. By completing and submitting the electronic order form (or proceeding through the 'checkout process') & or by speaking to an e-Careers representative you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Neither submitting an electronic order form nor completing the checkout process constitutes our acceptance of your order.

Our Site may contain links to third-party sites that are not owned or controlled by e-Careers. We have no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party sites or services. We advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of any third-party site that you visit.

This Agreement (and any further rules, polices, or guidelines incorporated by reference) shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions by posting the updated terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

Please review this Agreement periodically for changes. If you do not agree to any of this Agreement or any changes to this Agreement, do not use, access or continue to access the Site or discontinue any use of the Site immediately.

User ID Password you registered for e-Careers you were given a user name and password. You must take care to keep your user name and password confidential. You will be responsible for all activities that occur under your user name and password. You must not allow anyone else to use your user name and password. You must inform us immediately of any unauthorised use of your user name or password or if you believe that your user name or password has been compromised. We reserve the right to require you to change your user name and password if we believe that they are no longer secure.

We will never email you or ask you on the phone for your password. If anyone asks you for your password you must tell your tutor or advisor.

We will provide you with access to your course once you have enrolled and completed payment. You will need to log on using your user name and password to use the course.

Privacy and data protection is as described in the e-Careers Privacy Policy.

We endeavour to provide you with your chosen training and any supporting materials such as software, peripherals or text book to arrive within 5 working days or placing an order with a maximum of 28 days from the dispatch date, e-Careers will not accept any claim from the delay of such materials due to circumstances beyond its control until the 28 day period has expired, at which point at the absolute discretion of e-Careers will compensation be considered up to a maximum of the course cost. Please note: should your voucher code expire, it can be reactivated for a small admin fee of £25.

Access to Website, Server and Course Improvement

As we are continually improving and upgrading our courses and security there may be an occasion where you will be unable to access your course. Please be assured that this time will be kept to a minimum and is in the interest of our learners. We strive to supply our students with the latest, up to date courses that are in demand today.

However as we supply over 400 training courses in the world's fastest changing industry today, there can be periods between the creation of new software, hardware, certifications and the release of a fully functional interactive training course that will meet our high standards.

A course becoming 'out of date' can also be due to the awarding body deciding to alter, change, replace or simply cease the exam. These events are beyond the control of e-Careers and hence we cannot accept any responsibility for any previously purchased course becoming invalid for certification purposes. Moreover it is to be noted that a portion of e-Careers courses are supplied by third parties. While we cannot guarantee that third party companies will always remain solvent, we carefully scrutinize our suppliers before adding their courses to our catalogues. In case a third party supplier cease to offer courses for any reason, e-Careers will use their best endeavours to replace students courses on a like for like basis free of charge.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND POLICY

Under this policy, you may cancel your purchase of the course within the period of 14 calendar days from the date on which the contract of purchase is concluded. This is called as a "Cancellation Period".

Note that if you redeem your voucher during the Cancellation Period, you expressly request us to begin providing the course materials and you acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel the purchase of the course and get any refund for it.

In case you decide to cancel your purchase of a course, it can be done in following way:

By filling out Cancellation Form and sending it via post to Cancellations Department, 10 Riverside Business Park, Stoney Common Road, Stansted, Mountfitchet, Essex, CM24 8PL, UK or emailing the Cancellation Form to cancellations@e-careers.com

If you cancel the purchase of a course within 14 calendar days as mentioned above, we will refund you for all payments made as a part of your purchase within 14 calendar days from the day we accept that you are entitled to a refund.

Note:

All external exam vouchers must be used within 12 months of purchase. Please refer to the individual exams for validity as some of the exam vouchers are valid for 6 months only.

Although e-Careers strive to offer the best prices, on occasion, as some courses are externally sourced, our prices may be above that of our suppliers. If you have purchased one of our courses and subsequently found it cheaper else ware, this reason alone, you will not be eligible for a refund.

Before you purchase a course from us, it is your responsibility to ensure that the course is right for you. Our website displays relevant information on all the courses and moreover for some courses even demos are available. However, it is to be noted that by not having access to a demo, will not give rights for cancellation.

The detailed course information is designed to reduce the risk of you making the wrong choice. Read the course description and technical requirements. Access the sample course (where available) to check that the course will run on your PC and that you are comfortable with the depth and style of the course.

Do note that as some of the courses are sourced by us, you will be required to respond to communication from our suppliers in order to gain access to the course(s) you have purchased. Furthermore, please note that usually e-Careers can support any course access or user issues, however in the rare instances, we may need to contact our third-party developers on your behalf and this may take up to 7 to 10 workings days to gain a solution.

About ‘Deposit’ you should be aware that a deposit is a part-payment for the service (course in our case). When you pay a deposit, it shows that you intend to buy a course and wish to enter into a contract with us. Please remember that deposits are non-refundable in nature unless statutory rights are applicable whereby we are satisfied that it meets all the necessary requirements for it.


Refund or returns on physical goods

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will issue you with a refund, in accordance with the terms and conditions.

A full refund (excluding original delivery charge) will only be issued if the goods are returned within 14 working days of receipt. Your receipt will be required for proof of purchase and any refunds will be made by original payment method.

Delivery and Returns Guidelines

Proof of postage must be obtained – as without proof, no claim can be made for items lost or damaged in transit.

All returns should be accompanied by a proof of purchase, e.g. your packing slip or invoice, or a printout/handwritten details of your order if no packing note was enclosed. It is your responsibility to make sure the item(s) arrive with us and safely and in a saleable state.

Customers must pay the cost of returning the item(s) to us. If any parcels are lost, stolen or damaged in transit when returned, it is your responsibility to claim from the relevant courier company for their loss.


How long will it take to process my return?

Please allow 5 working days for returns to be processed once they reach us and a further 14 days for any refund to appear in your account.


Faulty Item

In the unlikely case that you receive a faulty item, please contact our info@e-careers.com and we will accept the return or exchange of the item.


Outside the U.K.

Please use the code RGR on any declaration form.

If returning an item bought from us online from outside the EU it is very important that the customs declaration form is clearly marked as ‘RETURNED BRITISH GOODS’, also using the code RGR (Returned Goods Relief) on any customs declaration form. Should this procedure not be followed, e-Careers will not be liable for any customs or duties charges incurred when returning goods.


e-Careers reserves the right to refuse any returned parcel that has attracted a customs charge.

These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Exams and Certificates

Exam vouchers will be provided on your request for exam booking. All exam vouchers have an expiry date and is set from the date of purchase. Please refer to the website before making purchase and in case of further doubts, kindly speak to one our training advisers by calling one of our company numbers. External exams are at extra cost to student as they are a chargeable event outside e-Careers and so their costs are beyond our control.

Course completion certificates are e-mailed on request at a nominal cost of £5.

It is the delegates responsibility to ensure they meet the course & exam pre-requisites prior to booking or the taking the exam, if you are unsure please contact our customer service team who will be happy to assist.

Finance Voucher

All Finance Vouchers are sold as complete and e-Careers or its partners do not offer the option of partial refunds, your normal statutory rights are not affected.

For any finance related queries including payments, please contact the finance provider who you have the lending agreement.

Security and Credit / Debit Cards

We use all of the standard security measures to guard your personal data. Credit / debit card numbers are not stored on to any of our system. For security reasons, we will never re-display entire card numbers in a readable form and all of the card transactions will be handled by our secure server. We do not offer non-secure transactions. We use secure methods to process the payments via card and on a regular basis monitor the performance of this process. Each time you make a card transaction, you will be sent confirmation of payment via e-mail.

Voucher Customers

External vouchers have a set limited redemption date (agreed with the voucher supplier and e-Careers). These vouchers once expired have no value to us. Should you hold an expired voucher, please talk to us and we will try and help. In case we cannot help, we would advise you to speak to the external source that has provided you with this voucher originally.

We do not add any extra charges for training and any voucher purchase is inclusive of all VAT and UK taxes (unless stated otherwise).

Any alterations or changes to vouchers / training purchased (including editing start date) will charged at £10 for administration fee and this fee is fixed and inclusive of all taxes.

By agreement upon purchase you will be issued with a voucher and instructions to redeem the voucher to obtain access to your course.
